It is recruiting for a UK Content Manager for its international poker affiliate site to join the team in London. Key duties will include:
- Manage editorial content on the English-language site and in email newsletters, writing and sourcing articles from network of freelance journalists
- Adapt articles and images and upload via bespoke content management system (CMS)
- Select and upload video content supplied by in-house TV/ video production team, advertisers and 3rd party producers via video CMS
- Monitor and report on performance of site content and ensure content selection and presentation maximises visitors and traffic to partner sites, and is optimised for search engines
- Maintain excellent working relationship with all divisions/ teams within the business including commercial/ ad sales, other local content managers, video production, SEO/marketing, design
- Maintain strong external relationships with journalists, CMS developers, advertisers, and video content providers.
Skills / Experience Required:
- Excellent writing, editing and proof-reading skills, excellent attention to detail
- Strong interest in and knowledge of poker, and strong knowledge of online poker industry
- C.1-2+ years online content/ web editorial experience, preferably within gaming industry
- Strong analytical and organizational skills and experience meeting strict deadlines
- Ability to work as an entrepreneurial self-starter
- Ability to present creative and commercially sound recommendations for new content and site presentation/ design

Our client, a leading online poker operator, requires an experienced affiliate manager to join their young and vibrant team; to attract suitable new affiliates, and reactivate and actively manage existing affiliate relationships. The affiliate program is vital to cost-effectively creating the critical mass of new customers the company needs to reach its growth targets.
Areas of responsibility:
Recruitment of new affiliates across the poker brand
End to end affiliate management
Learn how existing web affiliates can work in diverse new markets
Negotiation and sign off on all new affiliate activity
Maintain current affiliate relationships and attract new affiliates
Develop and implement the overall Affiliate strategy and tactics, in conjunction with the traffic acquisition team, to significantly increase traffic to the poker site.
Manage all aspects of the affiliate relationship, ensuring growth and loyalty: manage payment of commissions, contract renewals, sponsorship shows and conferences and other activities that generate traffic
Develop creative tactics to increase number of quality affiliates
Identify “lapsed” affiliates and take the appropriate measures of reviving/bolstering account flow
Consult with existing affiliates in identifying their individual needs and in helping them draw traffic to their site
Inform (phone, email, web site) affiliates of ongoing and upcoming promotions, and on occasion, develop customized incentives to motivate affiliates to participate
Develop a targeted, tiered list of prospective affiliates to work with and put together a sales and marketing plan on how to attract and retain them
Develop one-off program (e.g., tailored contests) to draw traffic from top tier affiliates
Represent the Company at various affiliate industry trade shows
Work with the Company’s SEO group to optimize affiliate site content
Manage payment of solutions
Analysis and report on program performance
Skills required:

Online gaming industry experience a must
Minimum 2 years experience managing an affiliate program preferred
Strong negotiation and analytical skills
