With the number of betting, gaming and poker sites increasingly on what seems a daily business, the competition for new customers is intense. The betting, gaming and poker industry use networks of affiliates to do their advertising and sign up new customers and that network needs a leader, the Affiliate Manager.
The main responsibility of an affiliate manager is generate more sales, or sign-ups in the gaming industries, by the advertising of the particular brand or product. In order to do this, he or she needs to ensure the program available to affiliates and sub-affiliates is competitive and if need be, improve the program.
A good affiliate manager will actively seek out potential new affiliates, interview them to ensure they are ideal for the brand they are advertising and act as a first point of contact for anyone in their network.
